A new season...

It is that time of year when summer is waning, there is a coolness in the air and the children are going back to school...
This quilt is from a new designer, "Laugh Yourself into Stitches".  Education was always very important in my family.  My grandmother was a teacher.  My father was a teacher.  Both of my brothers were teachers.  My daughter and son in law are teachers.  So it seemed appropriate to make a quilt to honor teachers!  It was great fun to make and I hope to get more of her fun designs made.  Nikki Crisp quilted it for me with an edge to edge leaf motif.  Thanks, Nikki!

Here are some more designs by "Laugh Yourself into Stitches":

There are lots of new fabrics for fall and Christmas...currently working on some gnome projects from P&B fabrics...and so many new patterns!  I hope you get a chance to stop in now that the leaves are turning and the days are getting shorter!

I will be at the Red Barn Market at the Fairgrounds November 4 & 5 and hope to have my Christmas Open House this year in the shop December 3 & 4 so mark your Calendars now!  I will publish more specific details later.
