Early Christmas Joy!

Here is a basket of Christmas Joy!  It is a sneak peek of Bunny Hill's Christmas line for next year!  The rest of the fabrics won't be arriving until May, so hurry in to get a charm, candy, jelly or layer before they are gone.  Quantities are very limited.
But there will be LOTS more in May :)
Close ups for your viewing pleasure!  And check out Bunny Hills patterns for this line on their website.  Lots of redwork options, and quilting, applique, even some tea towels.
  O what fun it is!

Some fun and happy fabric from Art to Heart to go with Nancy's newest book
 "Table, Please"

And here are the panels from Bunny Hill to go with the new fabric line.  I still haven't mastered getting the photos in the proper order on the blog.  Who new I would have to be computer savvy when I opened the store 18 years ago?

It is a snow day here in Lynden.  Be safe and stay off the roads if you can! Make a mug of hot chocolate and work on a quilt or wrap some presents, start a jigsaw puzzle, or do what I am doing... staring out the window in awe of God's amazing creation. What a perfect start to Christmas!  Thank you all for making this another year of fun and adventure at "Folktales".  It is such a privilege to be doing a job that I love with customers who have become friends!  I hope you all have a very Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Christmas Open House December 6 & 7, 10am to 6pm

This is a new embroidered wall hanging from
 Gail Pan's book "Simply Christmas"
The book is $21.50.  The fabric kit is $25.00
A couple of friendly snowmen from "Country Friends" pattern company
Some fun samples made with scraps and the designs from "Words with Wool"  The book is $16.95

This is part of a long table runner I made from a "French General" Layer Cake and some border fabric.  I got the idea from one of Moda's free pattern downloads.  It was originally designed to be a quilt, but I adapted it to be a runner.  It is from the "Chateau Rouge" line.
Check out Moda's free pattern downloads! I used a 60 degree triangle ruler to cut the blocks.
This is a sample of the free Crabapple Hill pattern That will be given away to everyone attending the Open House this weekend.

Primitive Gatherings has designed another amazing wool runner.  It is 60" long so hard to get a good picture.  It says "Dashing through the Snow".
The pattern is $12.00.
The pattern and fabric kit is $85.00
"Let It Snow" by Farmhouse Threads.  The pattern is $8.00.  I made up a kit with the Primitive Muslin, the Christmas Green and the striped binding.  You will need to add 1/2 yard scraps to complete it, as well as backing.  The pattern and fabric kit is $30.00.

These samples are from Sara at Blackberry Designs.  Her samples will be on display until the end of the month.  The patterns are $8.50 each

"Hexagon Garden" is a new Jelly Roll Quilt I just finished.  The pattern is $9.00.  The kit with pattern and fabric including backing is $105.00.
It is made with the new Moda line
"Vin Du Jour" by Three Sisters
And this is a coordinating table runner made with the pre-cut hexagons.  The pattern is from
 This and That.
Two more samples made from Gail Pan's book, "Simply Christmas".
The  Elf Surprise Table topper fabric kit is $17.50
The reindeer candle mat fabric kit is $3.00
I hope you have an opportunity to stop in for some holiday treats and a cup of hot cider to warm your insides this Friday or Saturday.  I want to thank each one of you for continuing to support me and encourage me.  It is delightful to wake up each day and know that I will see some of your lovely faces!  Thank you for making it possible for me to keep doing what I love!  I pray that you have a Blessed Christmas and a New Year full of Happy Delights.
