fun new samples!

All Through the Night has some of the sweetest new projects...
Bonnie Sullivan has designed patterns with pre-printed fabric-all you need to do is embellish them with wool, embroidery, buttons, beads...
whatever you choose!
First up are her "Winter Snow Bowls"  I have made a banner with them, but the possibilities are ENDLESS!
The pattern comes with six pre-printed scenes for $18.00

This is a brand new pattern from Cottonwood Creations.  The pattern is $6.00
Here are more All Through the Night's new patterns.  This one is for 12 ornaments.  This pattern is also $18.00.  SO MUCH FUN!  The rest are at the bottom of the page...because I don't know how to post
 them in order.  :(

Crabapple Hill designed this "Christmas Tree Lot" pattern.  LOVE the bead embellishment for the Christmas lights!  The pattern is $10.00.  A package  of the beads is $1.95.
"I Still Love Snow" is a snuggly 40" x 45" flannel quilt made with a panel from Shelley Comisky.  I backed it with Moda's snuggle fabric in blue.  I had to make two because both of my precious grand daughters need one (Shhhh...don't tell them!)!  The kit, including snuggle backing, is $63.50
These cute fellas are from Cottonwood creations. They are made with wool.
The patterns are $6.00 each.

I am still working on a few more Christmas projects that I hope to post before long.  I am having so much fun with all the delightful
new patterns for Christmas!

First up is this fun wall hanging from The Wooden Bear that can also be made as a heating pad!  I have made up samples of both.  It is made with flannels and I appliqued the snowflakes and snowmen noses with wool.  The pattern is $8.00.  I have not made kits up yet but hope to get to that soon!

And this is Buttermilk Basin's bench pillow made from a checked homespun plaid and appliqued with wool.
 The pattern is $9.00
And for special effects, that is REAL SNOW on the Bench Pillows!  Well, the weather outside is frightful, and the fire is so delightful...The pillow below is a design from Shabby Fabrics.  It is wool appliqued onto Moda toweling.  It is embellished with glass beads.  This pattern is $9.50.
This is another Buttermilk Basin pattern.  It is also wool applique on Moda toweling.

 The kit, which includes the
toweling, wool and the buttons and bells is $49.95.
I am having great fun working on new projects for the Christmas Open House, December 1 and 2.  I will try to keep the blog updated and hope you have a chance to stop by and enjoy the samples and see the other goodies arriving daily!  'Tis the Season!  Fa la la la la...

fun new projects!

Finally got a chance to start piecing of the "Salem Witches"! I will be using the same fabrics for the border blocks.  I LOVE the way it is turning out!  The fabrics are "Halloweenie" from Bird Brain Designs
and a few pieces from Crabapple Hill's new
 "Salem Witches" fabric line.

I think the rick rack adds a special touch of whimsy.

This is a new tote I made with 100% linen
with lots of pocket both inside and out!

This beautiful wall hanging is from Primrose Lane,   "A Christmas Parade".  The pattern is $9.00. The kit which include all the fabric, pattern, beads and floss is $35.00.
"Sweet Treats" is a 54 1/2" x 54 1/2"wallhanging using all the "Halloweenie" fabrics.  The fabric kit, including the backing, is $87.50.

Buttermilk Basin's new "FALL" wool table runner.  The pattern is $9.00.  I have not gotten the kits put together yet.  The centerpiece is made from Poorhouse Designs "Fold and Stitch" wreath pattern.

And here is Baby J's crib quilt...

I used "Laundry Day" fabrics and a few fabrics from my stash.

start your sewing machines!!!

The l-o-n-g awaited fabrics from Crabapple Hill have finally arrived!  These are the ones I am hoping to add to the Birdbrain Design fabrics to piece "The Salem Witches Quilt Guild" quilt.
This is the panel. I think it would be fun to put it on the back side of the quilt!  I have the panel in both the black background and the natural background. The fat quarters are $3 each and the panel is $8.00

This is the fabric pack I am using to finish the"Salem Witches" pattern-a combo of Crabapple Hill fabrics and Birdbrain design fabrics.

This is not a great photo-too much sunshine! (and Wisteria) It is
"The Cowboy Life" Quilt.
Hope you get the general idea!  The pattern is $10.00 and the complete kit, including backing, is $179.95.
And this is "Lilypad", a new fun pattern from Cottonwood Creations.
I thought they would be fun to display with the Witch Quilt.
 The pattern is $6.00

"Amish Kinner" is a pattern from Primrose Lane-brings back lots of memories of when we lived amongst the Mennonite communities
 in Ontario, Canada!
The pattern is $9.00 and the complete kit, including backing, is $110.00.
I have made some more Fold and  Stitch wreaths in fall colors.  These are so easy to make and always turn out stunning!  The pattern is $9.00

Here is a sneak peak at one of the Crabapple Hill designs I am working on for the Christmas Holidays.  This is "Grandma's Christmas Kitchen".  So excited to start making Christmas memories with my own Grandchildren this year!  They might be a little too young to help frost the cookies, but I bet they will lick off the beaters from the mixer!  SO Blessed!
