Here is the finished quilt! It is a Crabapple Hill Design. The pattern is $18.00. It finishes at 38 1/2" square. It has coloring with colored pencils, embroidery and sweet little english paper pieced hexies bordering the center block.
The fabric kit is $77.00, $95.00 for fabric and pattern. I used Brenda Riddle's "Sophie" line from Moda for the piecing.
The Cosmo floss bundle for this project is $29.25. The prisma premier colored pencils are $40.50. Also available are the blending stumps and Jacquard Textile Medium. A new product that I used are Eppiflex plastic hexie templates. They are easily removed from the hexies and can be used over and over again. One package of 75 is $12.00.
Nikki Crisp outdid herself with the awesome quilting. Her quilting enhances the embroidery and applique.
The cost of this quilting was only $92.50. SO worth it!
Nikki has moved to Montana, so now I ship her my quilt tops and backing. I purchase the quilt batting from her to save on my shipping costs, and after she is finished quilting, she pays for the return postal costs. Right now she has literally NO WAIT TIME so if you need a quilt quilted she is ready and available, and clearly, VERY talented.
