Spring is arriving early at Folktales!

 Flowers are starting to POP!
 (So are the weeds, unfortunately!).
I have been having lots of fun working on some new items for the Spring.  Great fun to work
with fresh new colors!
The bunnies are a new pattern from Country Whims.  The Lamb is from Funky Friends and the chick is one of my own creations.

I have had SO MUCH FUN playing with the Vintage Trailer pattern from Studio E.
I made a few garlands...
...embellished with buttons and Yo Yos.

 A few new friends-Shaggy sheep...
... and felted bunnies
More spring beauty!  And all I have to do is enjoy!
Here are some new dishtowels from Primrose Lane.  The pattern is $9.00.  The toweling is from Moda.  It is $8.00 per yard.  I used one yard for each towel.  The Chick and rooster will complement the Chicken Quilt also from Primrose Lane.  It has 12 Chickens.  It is currently in the capable hands of  Nikki Crisp getting machine quilted.  Will post pics of that as soon as it is finished!
Here are more ideas for the Vintage Trailer panel.  I made 12" pillows, again using Yo Yos and buttons for embellishments.  I have included some close ups of the embellishments hoping to inspire you.  I am sure there are other great options...Pom poms, Ric rack...
The 4 trailers are in one strip of fabric for $2.75

This is the finished Birds 'n Bees quilt designed by Shelley Comiskey for Henry Glass.  The quilt kit, including pattern and backing, is $100.00.  Such bright happy colors!

This is a small wall hanging from Primitive Gatherings.  The pattern is $8.00.  I LOVE the phrase on it.  A good life motto that
I need to be reminded of daily.
"BE THE GOOD"!

And one last shot of bunnies and flowers
 just because!
It is past my bedtime so I am logging off, but there are lots of other fun things popping up around here so stop in for a visit and such fresh spring ideas-even if it is raining outside!
