Can't wait to get started on the Block of the month from Crabapple Hill!  Each pattern is $10.00-there are 11 patterns in all.  The fabrics are here, almost all of the flosses are in stock and the colored pencils are on their way!

Started working on my Row by Row block.  I am going to do an 18" block for the "Taste the Experience" theme.

 Just gets the creative juices flowing, doesn't it?  There are abundant patterns to go along with these beautiful wools if you need some more inspiration!  Next post will have a finished wool quilt once Nikki Crisp does her quilting magic!  So many fun things to keep us busy while the weather keeps us indoors.

 Sorry I did not get this picture up sooner.  This is the finished sample of the free pattern from Crabapple Hill and Folktales that I gave out during my Christmas Open House.  If you have the embroidery finished now you can see how I added the borders and binding.

 This is a new adaptation of an older Kansas Troubles quilt pattern.  I made it with Minnick and Simpson's "Farm House Reds" fabric line.  I do have a few kits ready.  

Hard to believe it is time to think about Valentine's Day!

 Makes a sweet table topper!  I have always thought about adding a few more rows to make a crib quilt.  Maybe someday...

This beautiful quilt is from Patti Carey called "Cameo Stars".

Birdbrain Designs new line of fabric is "Roly Poly Snowmen" in shades of blue. 

 I used it to make their pattern, "A Yard of Snowmen".

               This is a sweet new counted cross stitch ornament pattern from "The Bee Co."
                   The pattern includes the wooden buttons and round frame and is $10.95

 Bits and Pieces by Joan designed this fabulous nativity scene.  It is wool on a cotton background. I embellished my sample with beads for the stars and on the wisemen's gifts, and tiny tassels on the camel's bridle.  The pattern is $8.00.  The kit includes all the wool, cotton front and back and binding but it does not include the embellishments or threads.  The kit is $54.95.

I also finished the four stockings in All Through the Night's "A Change of Seasons" book.  I have made several seasonal projects with this book and still hope to make more.  The book is $27.99.

This is a small wool project from Bit's and Pieces by Joan, "A Gift from Bethlehem".  It finishes at       4 1/2" x 11 1/2".  The pattern is $5.00.  The pattern and fabric kit is $12.95.

Bareroots has a new pattern, "Little Christmas Pillows".  It has several fun pillows to make - so far I have gotten two of them made...
