I have used Peltex in each book to keep it firm and still washable. Peltex is $6.50 a yard and most books require 1 yard.

Fun New Projects for the New Year!

 This is  a 12" X 15" quilt designed by Pam Buda with Marcus Fabrics.  The pattern is called "Spice Box" and has 3 mini quilt patterns that can all be made with ONE layer cake and extra fabric for sashing, 

borders and backing.  The pattern is $14.50

 and the layer cake is $40.00

"Enjoy the Ride" is a $5.00 pattern from "This and That".  The fabric kit with the pattern is $15.00.

 This is a free pattern that I designed to celebrate Valentine's Day.  It is made from felted wool.

 This sample was made with Sweetwater's latest collection.  The pattern is called "Charming".  It uses a charm pack and background fabric. 

 Quick and Cute!

 Crabapple Hill's newest line, "Sundress"  arrived yesterday.  Such HAPPY fabric!  I already used some of the pink polka dot for the "Enjoy the Ride" sample.

 This is a new wool sample from "Primitive Gatherings"  The pattern is $9.00, and the kit with fabric, wool and pattern is $35.00

   These also arrived yesterday from Riley Blake.  Love all the fresh new colors!  I do love the primitive colors, but it is so fun to open boxes of fresh new spring colors on a gloomy day!

 This is a new Valentine project I have just finished from Primrose Lane.  The pattern has 3 seperate stitcheries but I chose to put them together for a wall hanging.  Nikki Crisp will do her magic with long arm quilting and then I will take some new photos and make up some kits.  The pattern is $9.00.

 Of all my recent projects, I think this is my favorite!

new inspiration for the new year!

 I have started stitching the "Chicken Quilt" from Primrose Lane.  The pattern is $20.00 and there are 12 chicken stitcheries and finishing instructions for a quilt.  I will take photos of the finished quilt just as soon as I can!

 This is a new flannel quilt from Kansas Troubles latest line that I am working on.  Such Rich colors!

 Red Rooster has a fun new line out.  I can hardly wait to stitch up this panel into a quilt!

 And here is the latest from Sweetwater for Moda.  Happy Valentines Day!  Nikki Crisp is quilting a tabletopper that I pieced from this line.  Love the crisp fresh colors!  As soon as I get the binding on I will post pictures of the finished product.

 This is Bunny Hill's "Icicle Days".  I chose to do it with needle turn applique, but it would work up quickly if you did the applique on your sewing machine.  The pattern is $12.00.  The kit with pattern and backing is $155.00

 Here is one of the newest patterns from Emily at Red Button Company.  This little quilt, "Snow Buttons",  finishes at 10" X 12".  The pattern, including the buttons, is $12.00.  The kit with all the fabrics, buttons and pattern is $24.95.
