New fabrics!

 A brand new line called "Winter Celebration" by Sandy Lynman Clough.  It is absolutely stunning.  It even has some silver metallic highlights-and I still love it!!  Don't have a clue what I am going to make with it...waiting for inspiration to hit!

 For now I am just trying not to drool on it!

 Here is my finished 2015 Shop Hop Pattern

 More beautiful fabric from Moda.  This is the latest Blackbird Design prints.  Gorgeous!!

 When I am not trying to figure out where on earth to put all this fabulous merchandise, I am working on 2 new projects.  This is from Primitive Gatherings.  It uses her wools and her flannels.  It is just 38" square, so very do-able.  @ more sides to go with the wool applique!  

The pattern is $9.00, the wool kit is $48.00 and

 the whole kit, pattern, wool and fabric including backing is $109.00

 This is a new stocking advent panel.  Very Nordic looking.  I was excited to find another panel like this.  So much fun to fill all those stockings in December!

 This is a pattern and fabric line from Sandy Gervais, Pieces of my Heart.  The pattern is called "Linen and Lace".  I wish there was a better way to show it in a photo.  I hope to finish it next week and send it off to the quilter.  I will post pictures when it is complete.

Spring is almost here!

Here are some fresh new pictures of some of the newest products and samples at Folktales.   

This is a quilt made using a layer cake from Sandy Gervais' "Chance of Flowers" fabric line and a few fat quarters from other lines.  The pattern is from 

"It's So Emma" called Sunbeams.

 An apron for mom and one for her daughter.

 This is a new pattern from Buttermilk Basin.  The entire project is made from wool.  The blocks are interchangeable for each month.  The base has a place for your scissors and pins and needles.  That pattern is $9.00.  The monthly patterns are $6.00 each.  The one on display is February.

Here are Bunny Hill's new fabrics.  They have been released early to accommodate their newest Block of the Month program pictured below.

 I embroidered a Teddy Bear Quilt and used the browns for the 
setting and borders.  It is getting machine quilted.  As soon as I get it 
back I will post some pictures.

It's an advent calendar!

 Here are some fun new flannels from Marcus Fabrics.  Only $8.00 a yard!

 This is the Block I designed for the Tri-County 2015 Quilt Tour "Farm to Market"  The event runs from March 26th to 28th, 9 am to 6 pm.

 These are some pictures of the quilt I designed using the blocks from 7 of the shops.  Unfortunately I never received a block pattern from Aunt Mary's shop.  The following photos are of sections of the quilt. The tractor is not from any of the shops.  It is a pattern from "Counted Quilts" and retails for $10.00.  
The peas and carrots are from Folktales' block and the ears of corn 
are from The Quiltmaker's Shoppe.

 These are the peppers from Calico Country.

 The barn is Fabric-Etc.s' block.  I enlarged it and used
 Keepsake Cottage's block for the barn door, Two Thimbles' block is 
for blueberries but I turned them into sunflowers growing out of
 Tangled Threads' spool block, 
which I used as flower pots.

 This is a picture of my finished quilt.

 Yesterday the 2015 Western Washington Shop Hop

 fabric samples arrived in the mail.

 Here is a preliminary sketch idea I have for an embroidery pattern
 to use with the fabrics.

This is the latest Crabapple Hill Designs quilt, "Aunt Ruthie's Farm Stand".  I thought it went along well with the "Farm to Market" theme.  It is made with a pre-printed panel that is embroidered and then pieced with the coordinating line of fabrics from Red Rooster.  Love the canning jar prints!

Below are some close ups of the embroidery.  I was trying to take photos outside today in the sunshine but the wind kept blowing so they aren't very straight or centered, but you get the idea!

 Here is a picture of some of my favorite ladies wearing their "Sassy Little Aprons".  My daughter Hannah is missing but they do make a lovely group, don't they?  And proof that this Apron is flattering on everybody!  There is also a pattern for a matching children's apron.

 Mary King made this sample from Primitive Gatherings.  The pattern is $15.00 and the 

complete kit with the pattern is $100.00.

 This is a new pattern called "Dimensions" made with one of Moda's new fabric lines.  I backed it with silver dimpled Minkee.  This is the throw size.  The pattern includes crib, throw, twin, double and king size variations. 

 A very fun one to make! 

 Great if you are looking for a more masculine look.

 I made a new batch of "Raggedy Pants". 

 She is always a popular doll.  Her pattern is $9.00.

 Here is a new line designed by Sandy Gervais for Moda.  There are some great companion patterns but I have not gotten any samples made up yet.

 This pillow is called "Row of Rabbits" from Fay's Paints.  I figure since my daffodils are peeking up out of the dirt I should start getting ready for spring!

 This is a fun and easy tote to make.  Really suits novelty fabrics well.  I hope to make more of these for my girls' stockings next year.  Don't tell!  I think I will make the outside pocket deeper when I make more of these.  I would lose my keys/cell phone instantly if I put them in this pocket!  There are pockets inside as well that are deeper.

 And here is another fun spring idea-a table runner from Farmhouse Threads.  Cute!

I have a customer wanting to sell a Bernina 830.  3 years old, 9 1/2 hours of embroidery time and

I am busy working on my quilt for the tri county quilt tour "Farm to Market".  I also have a fun fresh quilt at the machine quilters.  "Sunbeams" from "It's So Emma". I hope to put photos of it on the blog soon...and stitching up Crabapple Hill's panel...and "Among the Pines" embroidery is done, now it is time to piece the quilt...and design my Shop Hop Block for June 2015...and Bunny Hill's new Christmas line is on it's way. I hope I don't get bored!  Meanwhile, I am running away from home for a bit with my husband on a much needed get-a-way.  Yippee! 

 I think I will read a novel or two...
