Happy New Year! I hope you all had a good holiday season and are pumped and ready to start some new projects in the New Year! This new quilt and pillow are from the Dainty Meadow Fabric Collection from Moda. The pattern is "Sew Smitten" and finishes at 56" x 56". There is a close up picture of the pillow and more info down below. The quilt is a quick one to do with a jelly roll! The kit with flannel backing is $136.95. I made my sample with pink minkee backing. Megan Best quilted it for $130.00, and bonus-her machine figures out the scalloped border!
This is made with Robin Pickens newest fabric line "Darling Peony" It finishes at 65" x 65" The pattern is $12.00. I put a plush backing from Shannon Fabrics on mine. The cost with the backing is $208.75. Without backing it is $143.75. It uses a layer cake, and there are plenty of 10" squares left over to make coordinating pillows or a table runner. Megan Best quilted this one for $125.00.
Here is a close up photo of the butterfly pillow. It is made from a mine charm pack. I did the quilting on this and it took me longer to quilt it than to piece it!
But, it was fun to quilt it! The pattern is by Lella Boutique and costs $10.00.
The kit with backing for the pillow is $25.00
And this is a panel that has a playmate, a little book and some soft stuffies to play with! The panel is $13.00. It is all about things that GO!
