HAPPY SUMMER!

This is a new quilt that I finally got around to making.  It was a very quick project, it just took me awhile to get to it.  It was worth the wait!  The kit with pattern and fabric, including the backing is $77.95.

And I just love this one!  The fabric line is "Farmhouse Americana"  and one of my daughters has already claimed it!  This kit, including pattern and backing is $95.00

This is my oldest granddaughter, Jocelyn.  Since before I became a Nana I always wanted my grandchildren to color one of my traced stitcheries.  So it finally happened!  Jocelyn is 8 and she colored this and then I embroidered it.  I have only one kit left and it is $25.00.  It is a Crabapple Hill pattern, and if you haven't heard already, she has retired, so the patterns that I have in stock are all I will ever have.  My 7 year old granddaughter and my 5 year old granddaughter also colored in some stitcheries.  I finished the embroideries but haven't gotten them made into wall hangings yet.  They are SO excited about making samples for Nana's store, and I think their mother's will be thrilled with these keepsakes, as well!

This is my embroidered Shop Hop Block.  The kit will be $3.00  It does not include the flosses, they are sold separately.  The flosses are Cosmo flosses, numbers 482, 5031, 8012, 8024, 8028, 8059, 8060 and 8066.  I have floss bundles available if you need them, I also have them sold individually if you have some already and just need a few of the colors.
This is a sample of the same embroidery colored with Premier Prisma Colored Pencils.  The colors I used are:  Sunburst yellow, Canary Yellow, Kelp Green, Grass Green, Apple Green, Sap green, Pink, Deco pink, Violet Blue, Parma Violet, Dahlia purple, Violet, Ultramarine, Blue Lake and Chocolate.
This is Nancy Halvorsen's newest book, with lots of great new patterns and a beautiful line of fabrics to go with it!

This is Hoffman's Happy Father's Day panel.  It is $23.95 and includes the extra fabric to make the ties, border and backing. All you need to add is some black!

This is the newest fabric line from 3 Sisters from Moda.  The bolts are arriving this week!

Shop Hop runs from June 16 to June 29.  The cost of my Shop Hop fabric is $12.50 per yard.  Fat Quarters will be $3.00.  If you want to pre-order,  just call or text 360.354.0855 and I will have it waiting for you when you get here!

All of these quilts were quilted by Nikki Crisp and I have a few more that just need the binding, so I hope to post them later this week.  Hope you are enjoying this glorious weather!  And I hope you get a chance to support your local quilt shops during Shop Hop!  Happy Stitching!

April

Here is my 2025 Shop Hop Block.  You can embroider it or use Prisma premier colored pencils to color and shade it before you embroider it.

I will list the colored pencils and the flosses I used in my next blog so you can see what you might need if you want to do it like I did.

Nancy Halvorsen has hit it out of the ball park AGAIN with her new Fall fabrics  "Autumn Breeze" and her new book.  Hard to decide which project to do!

Her Wanderlane and Whisper Weave fabrics will coordinate beautifully with these new pieces.

This is another new line of fabric from P & B textiles called Farmhouse Americana

I loved it so much I already made the free pattern on their website!

Now I just have to have Nikki Crisp do her magic!  By the way...Sean Crisp will be here on the 17th of April, so if you have any quilts you would like to send her way,  get them here before noon on the 17th and he will be our delivery man!

March

Fun new book panels!  Each one is $13.00

And these darling "Double Lush Velvet"  Panels from Riley Blake!  They are reversible, so all you need to do is add some binding or roll a hem and you have a throw for a car seat cover or just for a snuggle blanket!  They are$14.95 per panel and I have satin bindings on order!

And new fabrics from Moda by Heather Briggs from "My Sew Quilty Life".  They are $13.00 per yard.  And I have lots of precuts!

And here are new fabrics, and a new project idea that I hope I have time to get to.

I have gotten this Riley Blake project done. Kits are available with or without backing.  The kits with backing, either cotton or flannel, are $195.00.
Without backing the kit is #132.00.
This is another new project by Deb Strain for Moda.  It is called "Willow's Farm.
The complete kit with backing is $155.95.
And here is another finished project from Riley Blake.  The kit with backing is $89.95.  The panel is $13.00  This one is staying at Nana's house when it gets retired.
This is another new line from Moda, by Cathe Holden.  No definitive plans on what I am going to do with it...I can see an apron , for sure!  This line is $13.00 per yard and the 2 striped canvas pieces are
 $16.00 per yard.

One thing I learned from taking the month of February off is that I am nowhere near ready to retire!  I do plan to take every February off, but I am definitely going to keep on stitching!  Thanks to all of you who keep me in business.  And don't forget that we will be celebrating 30 years in July!

January

At long last I have finished my Hatched and Patched "Around Town" wall hanging.  I loved every minute of working on this project.  It was definitely one that soothed my soul!  The kit includes the pattern and the fabrics...as well as the backing fabric.  The DMC flosses are sold separately, as are the paper hexies.
The kit is $85.00

Here is a new Valentines Day Quilt with fabrics from Riley Blake Designs.  The kit is $76.50 and includes the backing.  It is approximately 40”x50”.
Megan Best quilted it for $50.00

Beautiful fabrics keep arriving at the shop.  Once again, running out of space!  Certainly not the worst thing in the world 😄.  I could be happy for a very long time just playing with all of it!

Just a reminder that I will be closed for the month of February.  Really hoping to regroup and get things organized.  Lots of painting to do on the inside and outside (weather permitting) of my house.  And lots of organizing to do.  Not really excited about it, but I think I will feel very good when it is accomplished.

I will reopen on March 1st, and will be participating in the Red Barn Market the 14th and 15th of March.  Western Washington Quilt Shop Hop is June 16 to 29.  They have chosen a lovely floral fabric this year.  And then in July I will be celebrating 30 years of business!  There will be sales and gift baskets and lots of fun!
